The contractor must submit a program of work immediately after the issue of the work order for approval of the Engineer-in-Charge.
All items of work must conform to Orissa Detailed Standard Specification, I.R.C. & I.S.I. Codes & Bridge code section I,II,III,IV&VII & latest design criteria for pre-stressed concrete bridge.
Compacting must be carried out with mechanical vibrators from the range of I.S.:2505, I.S.:2006, I.S.:2514, I.S.:4656.

All fittings for doors and windows, P.H. & Electrical works supplied by the Contractor must be of best quality, conform to relevant I.S. specification, and be approved by the Engineer-in-charge.
The contractor must arrange samples of materials for testing and approval by the Department before and during execution, with testing costs borne by the contractor.
Fly Ash bricks must be of good quality, approved by the Engineer-in-charge, and conform to the minimum strength as per the National Building Code.
All materials and finished items of work must be tested through the Engineer-in-charge at appropriate Laboratories according to relevant I.S. specifications, with costs borne by the Contractor.
The contractor must arrange materials like Steel, Cement, paint, and bitumen of approved quality and specification at his own cost.
The contractor must conduct his own boring before starting work and get samples tested at his own cost to ascertain SBC and credibility of strata at the founding level.
The coarse and fine aggregate must meet the grade requirement as per the latest provision of relevant I.S. Code / I.R.C. code / MoRT&H specifications.
The contractor must submit monthly returns of skilled and unskilled labor employed on the work.
The safety certificate for E.I. work must be furnished by agencies after verification from the electrical inspector prior to energization of the building.

All tenders received will remain valid for a period of 90 days from the last date prescribed for receipt of tenders.

Any defects, shrinkage, or other faults noticed within 12 months from the completion of the work, arising from defective materials or workmanship, must be amended and made good by the contractor at his own cost.
