How to Register on the Odisha eProcurement Portal

For OTP verification and login credentials delivery

Step-by-Step Registration Process

  1. 1

    Go to the official portal

Visit tendersodisha.gov.in and click "New Supplier Registration" or "New Bidder Registration" on the homepage. Do not use third-party registration services.

  2. 2

    Select your organisation type

Choose from: Proprietorship, Partnership, Private Limited Company, LLP, Trust, Society, or Government Organisation. This determines which documents are required in later steps.

  3. 3

    Fill in company details

Enter your company name (exactly as on PAN/GST), PAN number, GSTIN, registered address, and the full name of the authorised signatory who will sign bids using the DSC.

  4. 4

    Enter contact details

Provide a valid email address and mobile number. These receive your login credentials and OTP for verification. Use a permanent company email — not a personal Gmail — to avoid losing access.

  5. 5

    Upload documents

Upload clear scanned copies (PDF, max 2MB each) of all required documents. Blurry or incorrect scans are the most common reason for rejection. Ensure PAN name matches GST certificate name exactly.

  6. 6

    Submit and wait for approval

Click Submit. You will receive a temporary password by email within 2–5 working days. If you don't receive it, check your spam folder or contact the helpdesk number listed on the portal.

  7. 7

Set up your Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)

After logging in, go to My Profile → DSC Registration. Insert your Class 3 DSC token, install the DSC driver, and map your DSC to your account. Without this step you cannot submit any bids.

Common Registration Mistakes to Avoid

  • Name mismatch between PAN and GST certificate — causes immediate rejection
  • Using a personal Gmail instead of company email — risk of losing access if email is changed later
  • Uploading compressed or blurry document scans — resubmission delays registration by 3–5 days
  • Not installing DSC before the bid deadline — DSC setup can take 1–2 days; do it immediately after login
  • Registering too close to a tender deadline — allow at least 7–10 days buffer for approval
  • Skipping contractor class certificate — civil works tenders require it at bid submission stage even if not mandatory at registration
