• Contractors proposing to engage machineries and equipments deployed outside the State are required to furnish an additional 1% EMD/Bid Security.
• Engineer Contractors claiming EMD exemption must submit an affidavit stating they have not availed this facility for more than two works (excluding this one) during the current financial year, mentioning the works and authorities.
• EMD is 1% of the estimated cost, or 2% if deploying machineries from outside the State.
• The entire bid security, including additional EMD for out-of-state machinery, shall be forfeited if the contractor fails to mobilize machineries within the agreed period.
• EMD will be retained for successful tenderers and refunded to unsuccessful tenderers upon application after rejection intimation.
• The performance security (Initial Security Deposit) shall be 2% of the tendered amount, to be furnished within 15 days of the award notification.
• The security deposit, along with earnest money and withheld amounts, will be retained as security for due fulfillment of the contract.
• EMD will be forfeited if tenderers back out from the offer before acceptance.
• Cost of empty cement bags (Rs. 4.00/- per bag) will be deducted from the bill.
• 1.00% of the gross amount of the bill will be deducted towards income tax.
• 18% GST (9% OGST + 9% CGST) will be added to the agreement value, and 2% of the gross amount will be deducted towards sales GST for agreement values of two lakh fifty thousand and above.
• Additional Performance Security is not required when the bid price is below 0% but not below 10%.
• If the bid price is between 10% to 20% below the estimated cost, additional performance guarantee shall be increased by 0.2% for each percentage below 10%.
• If the bid price is more than 20% and not below 30% below the estimated cost, additional performance security shall be increased by 0.3% for each percentage below 20% in addition to 2% of the accepted bid price.
• If the bid price is below 30% below the estimated cost, the additional performance security percentage shall be incremented by 0.5% for every percentage below 30% in addition to 5% of the accepted bid price.
• 1% of the gross amount of the bill will be deducted towards Cess as per the Building & Other Construction Workers (RE & CS) Act.1996 & Building & Other Construction Worker Welfare Cess Act.1996.
