The contractor shall make good any damages to the work due to natural calamities or any other cause during execution or up to eighteen months after completion at their own cost.
The contractor must provide adequate protection measures to completed works or works in progress until completion and handing over.
Dewatering from foundation of structures must be done by the contractor at no extra cost.
All preliminary works such as GSTs, mixing platforms etc. are to be done by the contractor at his own cost.
After work completion, all surplus materials and debris must be removed from 100 meters clear away from the site.
Contractor is to supply necessary labour and materials for alignment, recording levels at own cost.
Contractor must abide by the C.P.W.D safety code rules.
Contractor must arrange for water supply for all works and sanitary arrangements for labour camps.
Contractor must arrange adequate lighting arrangements for night works.
Contractor must provide footwear for labour doing cement mixing work and black topping of roads.
Contractor must submit a monthly return of labour (skilled and unskilled) employed.
Contractor shall not employ any child labour.

Tender value varies from Rs. 12,06,067 to Rs. 55,94,242.
All taxes, cess, royalties, income taxes, and surcharges are to be borne by the bidder; only GST will be paid extra.

Conditional tenders are liable for rejection.
Tenders remain valid for 180 days from the date of opening of Financial Bids.
The work must be completed within the stipulated time; compensation for delay is 0.5% of the estimated cost per week, up to a maximum of 10% of the estimated cost.
20% of the value of left-over work will be realized as penalty if the contract is rescinded.
The contractor is liable to pay compensation at 1% on the estimate amount for every day of failure to rectify unsound/imperfect work or replace inferior materials.
The contract shall not be assigned or sublet without the written approval of the Executive Engineer.
Payment will be made after successful completion of work, testing, commissioning, and handing over to the concerned Pani Panchayat.

The contractor is fully liable to indemnify the Corporation for any compensation under the Workmen's Compensation Act.
No claim for idle labour/machinery/equipment will be entertained.
No compensation will be paid for damage due to natural calamities.
Extra items of work or extra quantity will only be paid if a written order is obtained and rates settled before execution.
Deduction of income tax at source and surcharge will be made from each running account bill.
Royalties of different materials utilized will be recovered from the bill.
Quantities for items with quoted rates more than 25% of estimated rates are not allowed to be varied by more than 5% without competent authority approval.
Payment will be made after completion of work, handing over of electric line and substation to TPNODL, and completion of all formalities with TPNODL.
Any defect within 24 months of commissioning must be rectified by the Contractor within 7 days.
If the contractor quotes abnormally low rates for some items, the Corporation may withhold the differential cost between such low rates and schedule of rates from payments until those items are completed.

Engineering Contractors seeking EMD exemption must furnish an affidavit stating they have not been awarded more than 2/3 works during the current financial year.
EMD for each package varies from Rs. 12,061 to Rs. 55,942.
Additional Performance Security (APS) is not required if the accepted bid price is up to (-)10% less than the Cost Put to Tender.
APS calculation: 0.2% for every percentage below (-)10% but not below (-)20%; 0.3% for every percentage below (-)20% but not below (-)30% plus 2%; 0.5% for every percentage below (-)30% plus 5%.
APS shall be treated as part of the performance security.
APS provision is not applicable to Turnkey Tenders.
APS shall be refunded immediately on successful completion of work within 7 days of Completion Certificate/Provisional Completion Certificate.
Initial Security Deposit (ISD) of 2% of the order value (including EMD) must be furnished within 7 working days of Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
EMD will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to execute the agreement or furnish required Performance Security/Additional Performance Security within the specified time.
EMD will be forfeited if any uploaded statement, document, or certificate is found false/fabricated/bogus.
The security deposit shall be released after a guarantee period of 24 months from the date of handing over the Package.
If compensation exceeds 10% or the whole security deposit, the Executive Engineer may rescind the contract, employ other labour/materials, or re-tender the unexecuted work.
Security deposit @ 5% of the bill will be deducted, refunded after 24 months from the date of handing over, subject to final bill payment.
Labour Cess @1% of the gross amount of the contractor bill will be deducted.
If the contractor fails to rectify defects, the Department may engage another agency and deduct costs from the security deposit.
