No claim for idle labor/machinery/equipment will be entertained.
The date of commencement of work will be notified in the work order.
The contract work should not be sublet; otherwise, the contract may be rescinded.
The authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of work items, which will not invalidate contract rates, but no compensation will be given except for time extension.
No compensation will be paid for damages due to natural calamities.
No extra items of work or extra quantity will be paid unless a written order is obtained from the Engineer-in-charge and rates settled beforehand.
The contractor must abide by the C.P.W.D safety code rules.
Royalties for materials utilized will be recovered from the bill based on government-fixed rates.
The Corporation does not accept responsibility for the correctness and completeness of the schedule of quantity, which is subject to alteration.
The contractor must deposit samples of materials for testing before procurement, bearing transportation and testing charges.
Mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical materials must be inspected at the principal manufacturer's site before dispatch, with the contractor bearing expenditure and fees.
Items not covered by the tender notice will be paid at current State schedule rates; those not covered by the schedule will be paid based on approved analysis.
Preliminary works like GSTs, mixing platforms, etc., are at the contractor's cost, with no separate payment.
After work completion, all surplus materials and debris must be removed, and the site cleaned.

The defect liability period is 24 months from the date of commissioning/handing over.

If any damage occurs to the work due to natural calamities or other causes during execution or up to 18 months after completion, the contractor must rectify it at their own cost.
The contractor shall not employ child labor.
The contractor must sign each page of the tender paper; otherwise, it will be rejected.
Damages to government or private property during pipeline work must be compensated by the contractor.
The contractor must pay fair wages to laborers as per State Public Works Department or Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
The Executive Engineer has the right to investigate and recover unpaid wages from the contractor to pay laborers directly.
The contractor must provide footwear for laborers doing cement mixing and blacktopping work.
The contractor must submit monthly labor returns.
Maternity benefits for female workers are regulated, including leave and pay for delivery and miscarriage.
First aid appliances, and at large workplaces, first aid posts and indoor wards/ambulances, must be maintained.
Sufficient drinking water must be provided at workplaces, located at least 50 feet from latrines/drains.

SC/ST Category Contractors seeking EMD exemption or Price preference must have a Registration certificate up to "B" Class.
SC/ST Contractors with Degree/Diploma in Engineering are not allowed to avail both EMD exemption and price preference.
EMD will be forfeited if a successful bidder fails to execute the agreement or furnish required performance/additional performance security within the specified time.
EMD will also be forfeited if any uploaded documents are found false/fabricated/bogus, leading to blacklisting.
Additional Performance Security (APS) is required on an incremental basis if the accepted bid price is lower than the Cost Put to Tender, except for Turnkey Tenders.
APS is calculated based on the 'Rounding Off of Percentage Less (ROPL)' of the accepted Bid Price compared to the Cost Put to Tender.
No APS is required if ROPL is up to (-)10%.
If ROPL is below (-)10% but not below (-)20%, APS increments by 0.2% for every percentage below (-)10%.
If ROPL is below (-)20% but not below (-)30%, APS increments by 0.3% for every percentage below (-)20% plus 2% of the accepted bid price.
If ROPL is below (-)30% or more, APS increments by 0.5% for every percentage below (-)30% plus 5% of the accepted bid price.
APS shall be refunded immediately on successful completion of the work within 7 days of issuance of Completion Certificate/Provisional Completion Certificate.
Initial Security Deposit (ISD) of 2% of the order value (including EMD) must be furnished within 7 working days of Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
The security deposit will be released after a guarantee period of 24 months from the date of handing over the Package.
Income tax and surcharge will be deducted from each running account bill.
Labour Cess @1% of the gross amount of the contractor bill will be deducted.
