• EMD is 1% of the estimated contract value, or 2% for contractors deploying machinery from outside the State.
• Initial security deposit, together with EMD, must make 2% or 3% of the accepted tender cost, to be furnished before agreement execution.
• Security deposit will be deducted from bills at 5% of gross amount for B class and above contractors, and 3% for C & D class contractors.

• The work must be completed within the period mentioned in column 4 of TCN from the date of written order to commence the work.
• An incentive of 1% will be paid for completion one month ahead of schedule, up to a maximum of 2% for two months ahead, for works with minimum values of Rs. 40.00 lakhs (Building/PH) or Rs. 3.00 crores (Road).
• Tenders are valid for 90 days from the date of opening.
