• Bid Security (EMD): Rs. 20,800 (online).
• Bid Security for bidders hiring machinery from outside the state: 1% of the amount put to tender (online).
• Original documents supporting scanned copies must be produced before the specified date; failure to do so will result in bid security forfeiture.
• Additional Performance Security (APS) is required for bids less than the estimated cost, equal to the differential amount, to be furnished within seven days of Letter of Acceptance.
• Failure to furnish APS will result in bid cancellation, forfeiture of EMD/Bid Security, and blacklisting.
• SC/ST contractors claiming 10% price preference must submit valid caste certificates and specifically claim preference in the affidavit, along with Additional Performance Security exclusively for price preference.
• Contractors exempted from EMD must produce attested true copies of exemption certificates/affidavits.
• The successful bidder must submit 2% of the cost put to tender as initial security deposit during agreement.
• Bid security may be forfeited if the bidder withdraws the bid after opening but within validity, seeks revision of rates, fails to submit original documents, or fails to sign the agreement or furnish required performance security.
• Penalty for failure or refusal to execute the order: EMD forfeited and supply order cancelled.
• Penalty for delay in supply, erection, testing, and commissioning: 0.5% of order value per month delay, up to a maximum of 5%, along with EMD.
• The EMD shall be retained until completion of work and final bill payment or completion of the twelve-month guarantee period, and shall not carry interest.
