All reinforced cement concrete work should conform to Orissa Detailed Specification and be of proportion (1:2:4) or (1:11/2:3) with a minimum compressive strength of 150 Kg/1200 Kg per Cum in 15 cm cubes at 28 days.
Shuttering and centering shall be with seasoned Sal wood planks lined with suitable sheeting and leak-proof or alternatively steel shuttering and centering.

Cement concrete in roof slabs, beams, and wherever prescribed by the Engineer-in-charge shall be machine mixed and vibrated.
The contractor must arrange their own concrete mixer, vibrator, pumps, etc.
The contractor shall employ one or more Engineering Graduates or Diploma Engineers as apprentices for works costing Rs. 2.5 Lakhs and above, with specific monthly emoluments.
The materials like Cement, Steel, Paints etc. procured & used by the contractor must be as per I.S.I. specification and approved by the Engineer-in-charge.

The contractor must arrange all building materials and equipment for the work at their own cost.
