After work completion, all surplus materials and debris must be removed, preliminary work dismantled, and the ground up to 30M (100ft) wide from the building cleaned and dressed.
Cement concrete in roof slab, beams etc., whenever prescribed, shall be machine mixed and vibrated, and the contractor should arrange their own concrete mixers, vibrator, pumps etc.
The contractor shall have to abide by the C.P.W.D safety code rules.
The contractor must arrange necessary tools and plants, machineries, concrete mixer, vibrator, and other machineries such as pumps etc., required for efficient execution.
The contractor has to submit monthly returns of Highly Skilled, Skilled, Semi-Skilled, and Unskilled Labour.
The contractor must inspect the site of proposed work and quarries to satisfy themselves about quality and availability of materials, medical aids, labour, and food stuffs.

Security & deductions from the DTCN (13)

EMD amount noted against the work as per annexure of NIT is to be transferred Online.
Initial security deposit, together with EMD, must make 2% of the cost of the work as per the accepted tender, to be furnished prior to agreement execution.
Initial security deposit should be in shape of pledged NSC/POTD/POSB/KVP/Deposit receipt of Scheduled Bank, pledged in favour of the Superintending Engineer/Executive Engineer.
Security deposit will be deducted from bills at 5% of gross amount for B class & above contractors, and 3% for C & D class contractors.
Failure to deposit initial security or sign the contract within the stipulated time will lead to forfeiture of EMD and withdrawal of tender acceptance.
Additional Performance Security will be obtained if the bid amount is less than the estimated cost: 0.2% increment for every percentage below 10-20%, 0.3% for 20-30%, and 0.5% for 30% or more.
EMD will be credited after the tender is awarded to the successful tenderer.
The tenderer whose tender is selected for acceptance shall make an initial security deposit of 2% of the tendered amount and sign the agreement within seven days of written intimation.
Failure to enter into the required agreement and make the security deposit shall entail forfeiture of the earnest money.
Security deposit will be refunded 12 calendar months after completion, provided the final bill is paid and defects rectified.
The contract shall not be assigned or sublet without the written approval of the Executive Engineer; doing so or becoming insolvent will lead to contract rescission and forfeiture of security deposit.
Any change in the constitution of a firm must be notified within fifteen days; failure leads to contract rescission and forfeiture of security deposit.
GST will be deducted/added as per applicable law.
