• Must be SSI Units registered under DIC/NSIC/MSME for Shutters of Irrigation structures/Gates for Irrigation Canal structures/Structures for River Sluice/Hydro Mechanical Gates only.
• Must furnish an Affidavit (FORM I) detailing all existing commitments and ongoing mechanical works.
• Must not be related to any officer in the rank of an Assistant Engineer and above or Under Secretary and above in the Water Resources Department, Govt. of Odisha.

• Must have necessary past experience in similar work and satisfactory past performance record in Manufacturing, Fabrication, Supply, Erection, Seal changing, Painting and/or Similar works of hydro mechanical gates.
• Minimum Annual Turnover of Rs. 9,92,376.00 in any one financial year within the last 5 years (FY 2021-22 to FY 2025-26) for Hydro Mechanical Engineering Construction Works, with a 10% per year weightage for previous years.
• Must have satisfactorily completed three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the present bid value, OR two similar works each costing not less than 60% of the present bid value, OR one similar work costing not less than 80% of the present bid value, within the last 5 financial years including the current financial year.

• Bid Security/Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is Rs. 6,700.00 (1% of estimated cost) and must be transferred online.
• Initial Security Deposit (ISD) of 1% of the estimated cost is required from the successful bidder before agreement, in the form of Term deposit receipt/N.S.C/Post office savings bank account/post office time deposit account/Kisan Vikas Patra/Bank guarantee.
• Additional Performance Security (APS) will be obtained from the successful bidder as per Works Dept. O.M No-17941 dt-08.10.2026, to be furnished within seven days of the Letter of Acceptance.

• The work involves Supply, Fabrication, erection, testing and commissioning of 04 Nos. Scouring Sluice gate of size (1200mmx1500mm).
• The work should be done strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications of the I.S.I. Codes, or Odisha Detailed Standard Specifications (O.D.S.S) if not covered by I.S.I., or as per Engineer-in-charge's instructions.
• All materials shall be tested for quality and all work performed shall be subject to rigid inspection.

• The period of completion for the work is 30 calendar days.
• Bids must remain valid for a period of 90 days from the last date of online bidding.
• Compensation for delay is 0.5% on the estimated cost for every day the work remains un-commenced or unfinished, up to a maximum of 10% of the estimated cost.
