The completion period for each work is 90 days (for packages 1-162) or 3 calendar months excluding monsoon (July to November) from the date of work order issue (for packages 163-193 and general conditions).
More than 15 packages will not be awarded to a single contractor; if a contractor is lowest in more than 15, they must surrender the excess or the authority will reject packages beyond 15.

For packages 163 to 193, 70% of the final bill will be paid initially, with the balance paid after solarization, water trial, and handover to Pani Panchayat.
Contractors are not eligible for time extension if they fail to complete 50% of the work.
Payment to the contractor will be made after funds are released from the competent authority.
Any defects noticed during the one and a half year period after completion must be rectified by the contractor at their own cost.
Compensation for delay is 0.5% of the estimated cost per day for uncommenced or unfinished work, not exceeding 10% of the estimated cost.
