• Applicants' available bid capacity at the time of bidding must be more than the total estimated cost of the work, calculated as (A x N x 2 – B) where A is max value of works in any one financial year during last five years (updated to current price level with 10% inflation per year), B is value at current price level of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during next 2.0 years, and N is number of years for completion (11 months).
• The bidder should have executed minimum quantities of Earthwork (Cum) and C.C./R.C.C (Cum) as specified, in any one financial year during the last 5 years (including the FY of invitation of tender).
• The intending bidders must have achieved a minimum annual turnover of Rs. 20.97 Crore at FY 2026-2027 price level in any one financial year during the last five years (from FY 2021-2022 to FY 2025-2026) in civil engineering construction works.

• Engineering contractors desirous of EMD exemption must submit an affidavit declaring they have not availed EMD exemption for more than 3 works during the current financial year 2026-27.
• The bid security (EMD) is 1% of the amount put to tender (approx. Rs. 2,51,750/- for this specific work).
• Additional Performance Security (APS) will be obtained from the selected bidder on an incremental basis if the accepted bid price is lower than the Cost put to tender, ranging from 0% to 8.5% of the accepted bid price depending on the ROPL (Rounding Off of Percentage Less).

• The authentication on ownership of the following plants & machineries should be possessed/submitted by the intending bidder or certificates on hire/lease from the owners should be furnished: 3 Excavators, 3 Tippers, 8 Concrete mixture machines, 1 Batching plant, 3 Transit Mixture Machine/Ajax, 1 Earth Compactor (for compaction)/Roller, 5 Water Tankers, 1 Diesel Generator (suitable to run batching plant).
• The contractor shall conduct his own boring before starting the work and get samples tested at his own cost to ascertain the S.B.C. and credibility of the strata at founding level.
• The tenderer should conduct three bores at each pier and SBC of soil at foundation level and abutments location and furnish the test results in conformity with IRC code at his own cost before execution of the work.

• The period of completion is 11 (Eleven) Calendar Months, including the rainy season.
• The bids shall remain valid for a period of 90 days from the last date of receipt of bids.
• Any defect noticed during the period of one year after the actual date of completion shall be rectified by the contractor at his own cost.
