The contractor must complete one-fourth of the work before one-fourth of the time, one-half before one-half of the time, and three-fourths before three-fourths of the time, or pay compensation of one-third percent on the estimated cost for every day the due quantity of work remains incomplete.
The contractor shall not sublet the work without the written approval of the Executive Engineer.
The contractor shall not employ any person below the age of eighteen years.
All taxes including GST, Income Tax, Royalty, fair weather charges, and Labour cess must be borne by the contractor.

If a bidder withdraws their bid/tender before the said period or modifies terms and conditions, the EMD/ISD deposited shall be forfeited.
Initial Security Deposit (ISD) of 1% of the accepted tendered amount must be deposited within 7 days from the date of issue of the letter of intent.
Additional Performance Security (APS) will be calculated on an incremental basis for low bid prices, as per OM No- 07764600022025-17941/W Dated 08.10.2026.
APS shall be refunded immediately on successful completion of the work within 7 days of issuance of Completion Certificate/Provisional Completion Certificate.
The security deposit amount will be refunded only after completion of the 18-month guarantee period to the full satisfaction of the Executive Engineer.
