Construction of E Type Quarter for AMO GAD Building at Nimina under Aska Block Building for the year 2025-26

• Contractors seeking EMD exemption must submit an affidavit stating they have not availed three works during the current financial year and produce the original registration certificate for entry before acceptance of tender.
• The contractor must produce necessary receipts for royalty and taxes; otherwise, applicable amounts will be deducted from bills.
• If a bidder withdraws or modifies their bid before the validity period, the EMD shall be forfeited.
• The bidder shall transfer online the Earnest Money Deposit/Bid Security as specified in the Annexure.
• Exemption from EMD is not permissible for fixed deposit holders.
• Additional Performance Security will be fixed as per Office Memorandum No. 173 Dt.03.01.2026 of Works Department, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, in shape of Term Deposit Receipt pledged in favour of the Superintending Engineer, Rural Works Division-Bhanjanagar from any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank within seven days from issue of Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
• Failure to furnish Additional Performance Security will result in cancellation of bid, forfeiture of EMD/Bid Security, and blacklisting.
• The successful tenderer must deposit an initial security amount within 10 days of intimation of acceptance, which together with EMD makes 2% of the work value, and sign the agreement in PWD form-2.
• Failure to deposit initial security or sign the contract within the stipulated time will lead to forfeiture of EMD and withdrawal of tender acceptance.
• The EMD of unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded online after the tender is finalized.
• If a tenderer withdraws during the validity period, EMD shall be forfeited.
• The security deposit, together with EMD and withheld amounts, will be retained for due fulfillment of the contract.
• If the tenderer backs out before acceptance, EMD will be forfeited.
• GST will be deducted/added as per applicable law from time to time.
