• No Engineer or Gazetted officer in an Engineering department of the State Government can work as a contractor for two years after retirement without government permission.
• Work must be executed in accordance with Odisha standard specifications and technical specifications in financial bid documents.
• Quality Standards of Bureau of Indian Standard specification must be followed.

• The bid validity period is 90 days from the last date of receipt of bids.
• If the L1 bidder does not sign the agreement, they will be debarred for three years and blacklisted; the L2 bidder may be called if they negotiate at the L1 rate.
