Additional Performance Security (APS) will be obtained from the selected bidder on an incremental basis where the accepted bid price is lower than the Cost Put to Tender, with specific percentages based on the ROPL (Rounding Off of Percentage Less) of the accepted bid price, but this provision is not applicable to Turnkey Tenders.
The additional performance security shall be treated as part of the performance security and refunded immediately on successful completion of the work within 7 days of issuance of Completion Certificate/Provisional Completion Certificate.
Initial Security Deposit (ISD) equal to 2% of the order value (including EMD) must be furnished within 7 working days of Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
The security deposit shall be released after a guarantee period of 24 months from the date of handing over the Package to the Executive Engineer.
EMD will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to execute the agreement or furnish required Performance Security/Additional Performance Security within the specified time limit.
If any uploaded statements, documents, or certificates are found false/fabricated/bogus, the bidder will be blacklisted, and EMD/bid security forfeited.
Any defect occurring within 24 months of commissioning must be rectified by the contractor within 7 days of notification; failure to do so will result in the cost being deducted from the security deposit.
