• For TW projects, bidders without their own rig must submit a joint venture agreement with a rig owner, executed in the court of a First Class Magistrate/Executive Magistrate.
• Contractors should have executed similar type of work in the last five years (weightage given).
• For TW packages, experienced Rig holders must participate in Joint Venture with the required class of contractor, submitting an experience certificate from an authority not less than the rank of Executive Officer of the Rig holder.

• The firm must possess liquid assets or credit facilities of not less than 20% of the amount put to tender.
• SC/ST contractors can avail EMD exemption by furnishing an affidavit stating they have not been awarded a minimum of 3 works during the current financial year.
• EMD is 1% of the Estimated Cost, to be deposited online.

The portal lists EMD exemption as available — bidders claiming it must meet the DTCN conditions and usually submit an affidavit.

• The completion period for each work is 90 days from the date of issue of the work order.
• Tenders will remain valid for 180 days from the date of opening of the Financial Bids.
• A compensation of 0.5% on the estimated cost per week will be charged for delays in uncommenced or unfinished work, not exceeding 10% of the estimated cost.
