• Intending Engineering Contractors seeking EMD exemption must furnish an affidavit stating they have not been awarded a minimum of 3 works during the current financial year.
• EMD is 1% of the Estimated Cost, to be deposited online.
• EMD will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to execute the agreement or furnish the required Performance Security within the specified time limit.
• EMD will be forfeited if any submitted statements, documents, or certificates are found false/fabricated/bogus, leading to blacklisting.
• The successful bidder must submit the original license before agreement for EMD exemption entry, otherwise the tender will be cancelled.
• The Additional Performance Security (APS) will be calculated on an incremental basis where the accepted bid price is lower than the Cost Put to Tender, as per the specified rounding off percentage less (ROPL) and incremental rates.
• The APS shall be treated as part of the performance security.
• The provision of additional performance security is applicable to all forms of tender except Turnkey Tender.
• The Additional Performance Security (APS) must be submitted within 7 days of the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) in the specified forms (NSC/Post Office Savings Bank Account/Post Office Time Deposit Account/Kishan Vikas Patra/Deposit Receipt of scheduled bank).
• Failure to submit APS will result in cancellation of the bid and forfeiture of EMD/Bid Security.
• The successful Tenderer shall execute an agreement in P.W.D. F2 Contract form within 7 days after receipt of Letter of Intimation, with a 1% ISD Value deposit.
• Security deposit @ 5% of the bill will be deducted, refundable after 18 months from the date of handing over, subject to final bill payment.
• Failure to rectify defects within 7 days will result in the Corporation engaging another contractor and deducting costs from the security deposit.
