The work completion period is 90 days for packages 1-152, and 3 calendar months excluding monsoon (July to November) from the date of issue of the work order for packages 153-193.
Liquidated damages for delay are 0.5% of the estimated cost per day for uncommenced or unfinished work, not exceeding 10% of the estimated cost.

For works exceeding one month, contractors must complete 1/4th of the work in 1/4th of the time, 1/2 in 1/2 of the time, and 3/4th in 3/4th of the time, failing which a compensation of 0.33% of the estimated cost per day will be levied.
