If the accepted bid price's ROPL is below (-)30% or more, APS increases by 0.5% for every percentage below (-)30%, plus 5% of the accepted bid price.
The additional performance security must be submitted in the shape of NSC/Post Office Savings Bank Account/Post Office Time Deposit Account/Kishan Vikash Patra/Bank Guarantee within seven days of issue of Letter of Acceptance (LoA).
Failure to submit the additional performance security will result in cancellation of the bid and forfeiture of the EMD, with blacklisting proceedings initiated.
The EMD will be forfeited if the bidder withdraws the bid after opening, does not accept correction of bid price, or fails to sign the agreement or furnish required performance security within the specified time.
If any uploaded documents are found false/fabricated/bogus, the bidder will be blacklisted and EMD/Bid Security forfeited.
Labour welfare Cess @ 1% will be deducted from the contractor's work bill.
TDS-2% on the gross amount of the bill will be deducted if the agreement value exceeds rupees two lakhs fifty thousand.
The security deposit will be refunded after one year on completion of the work, provided the final bill is passed, and will not carry any interest.
The successful bidder must make an initial security deposit of 2% of the accepted tendered amount and sign the agreement in P.W.D. form No. P1 within seven days of intimation of acceptance.
Failure to enter into the required agreement and make the security deposit will result in forfeiture of the earnest money.
