• For works above Rs. 3 crores, the available bid capacity must be more than the total estimated cost of the works, calculated as (A x N x 2 - B), where A = Maximum value of Civil Engg. Works executed in any year in preceding 5 yrs (updated with 10% annual inflation), N = No. of years prescribed for completion of works, and B = Value of works in hand at present price level.
• Firefighting Contractor must have completed firefighting installation work of Building/Industries/Premises successfully, obtained a valid fire safety certificate from Odisha Fire Services, and the cost of this job should not be less than 10 lakhs for each project.

• Annual turnover in any of the preceding 5 years should be equal to the bid amount after due indexing.
• The EMD/Bid Security is 1% of the estimated contract value (ECV) and must be deposited online.

• Must satisfy at least one of the following conditions during the last 5 years: 3 similar nature of building works with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) components each costing not less than or equal to 40% of the bid value; OR 2 similar nature of building works with MEP components each costing not less than or equal to 50% of the bid value; OR 1 similar nature of building works with MEP components each costing not less than or equal to 80% of the bid value.
• Experience in installation of lift and Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) is not a disqualifying factor.
• Contractors are required to furnish evidence of ownership of principal machineries/equipment as per Schedule-C (Annexure-I) and secure a minimum of 60% marks, failing which the tender will be rejected.
