Contractors must be 'A' or Special Class registered with the State Governments or of Equivalent Grade/Class registered with Central Government/MES/Railways for execution of civil works. | Contractors not registered with Govt. of Odisha can participate after enrolment in the portal but must register with the appropriate registering authority of the state Govt. before award of the work. | Bidders must not be associated, directly or indirectly, with the Consultant or any other entity that prepared the design, specifications, or is proposed as Project Manager for the Contract. | Bidders must disclose any relative employed as an Officer in the rank of an Assistant Engineer/Under Secretary and above in the Government of Odisha in the concerned Department. | No Engineer of gazetted rank or other gazetted officer employed in Engineering or Administrative duties in an Engineering Department of the Government of Odisha is allowed to work for contractor for a period of two years after retirement without prior permission. | Bids from Joint ventures are not acceptable. | The Civil contractor must enter into an M.O.U. with eligible Registered Electrical Contractor having valid H.T. / L.T./ M.V. License issued by Govt. of Odisha for execution of Electrical installation and other electrical works, unless the Civil Contractor holds such a license. | Civil Contractors with Electrical contractor licenses from other States must obtain an endorsement as per Clause-27 B of “Electrical Licensing Board Regulation, Odisha, 2014”.
