Contractors must be registered with State Governments or equivalent Grade/Class registered with Central Government/MES/Railways/CPWD for civil works. | Contractors not registered with the Government of Odisha must register with the appropriate registering authority of the State Government before award of work. | Bidders must not be associated, directly or indirectly, with the Consultant or any other entity that prepared the design, specifications, or other documents for the Project. | Bids from Joint Ventures are not acceptable. | For works above Rs. 3 crores, the assessed available bid capacity must be more than the total estimated cost of the works, calculated as (A*N*2-B), where A is the maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to current price level with 10% annual inflation), N is the number of years prescribed for completion, and B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works. | Annual turnover in any of the preceding 5 years should be the bid amount after due indexing. | The contractor must not have had a contract rescinded or abandoned any work in the last five years prior to the bid date. | Intending Bidders belonging to "A" and "B" class Engineer Contractors do not need to furnish Work Experience Certificate on similar nature of work for tender values up to 1.50 Cr, but can only be awarded two works in a financial year without it.
